Destiny 2 Shards Of Galanor Not Working

Shards of Galanor working inconsistently

Mayhem this week has cemented what I had been suspecting during Atheon fights--Shards of Galanor just doesn't work sometimes. I have still to find any consistent rhyme or reason to what causes information technology, but sometimes you can country an entire super worth of knives and get no refund at all.

To exist articulate, I'k non talking almost if you die before the return happens, I'thou talking about throwing a super, landing it, living, and getting absolutely no super return from the exotic.

Shard of galanor does not work on atheon if you are unaware. Yous must hit a few of the super on a harpy for it to work.

That... makes even less sense to me. If I land an entire volley into Atheon and get a single harpy with one or ii knives, there'south no way that should refill well-nigh my entire super similar it usually did. I didn't recollect of it, but I don't call back I was hitting harpies every fourth dimension I was getting refund.

I've been noticing this, every bit well as the hit reg simply non working at all sometimes in Mayhem. In a situation where I manifestly landed it on an enemy, I'll get no hitting marker or anything and they just kill me and run away.

I haven't noticed hitting registration issues personally, only I've been more focused on seeing whether or non I go regen when I do get hits and kills.

Information technology works on touch on damage as opposed to explosion damage. Then for instance, if you miss your target but information technology dies in the explosion, there is no super return. Conversely, if you lot nail your target with a knife(kills) it will return energu

If this was only happening on most-hits and the like, maybe, but I've nailed bosses with two full volleys of knives and gotten nada. It's non often, but it's frequent plenty to be a nuisance if y'all're trying to chain them.

I could assume that it was a mechanical thing or that I was simply bad if I was simply getting less return than I should, but it'southward just a complete binary of working sometimes and not others.
